Need Help with Proof (just help me get started): The sum of 2 particular solutions of two 2nd-order linear non-homogeneous diff eqn is equal to the sum of the RHS of the two eqns...f(x) +g(x) (see attached)

I really want to figure this out and want to get better with proofs.....can someone just point me in the right direction on how I would get started?

I was laying in bed and started thinking. Should I be looking along the lines to prove this by showing that the associated homogeneous equation = 0 and that f(x)- g(x) = 0? Still, I don't know where to begin with putting this into proof language rather than just "plain english". What do you guys think?
