what is the diameter of the field of view under a microscope?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

help please.....................................................................

OpenStudy (rogue):

The diameter of the field of view is pretty much the length of the viewing circle, zoomed in to a certain degree. I can't find the words to explain it well, sorry :/

OpenStudy (trancenova):

Yeah, what Rogue said is right. Have you looked down a microscope before? Basically what you see is a big circle with whatever is under the microscope in it. So the diameter is the distance from one side of this circle to the other. It changes depending on what magnification you have your microscope at.
