just foil (2x-5y)(2x-5y)
how do i do that?
multiply each term through the () ie: (x+2)(x+2) = x^2+2x+2x+4=x^2+4x+4
By the way, FOIL stands for 'First, Outside, Inside, Last" - this refers to the order that you multiply the terms (first you multiple the first terms, or x*x, and then the outside terms, or x*2, and then the inside terms, or 2*x, and then the last terms, or 2*2)
