How do you calculate? I dont know where to start

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If you believe all the information you are given then the answer is 1. This is based on 1 graticule division being equivalent to 40 times 0.1mm or 4mm. This is considerably more than 10 micrometres so 1 division would easily fit a blood cell in. Just for fun, if the stage micrometer divisions were 0.1micrometres apart then 1 graticule division would be 40 times 0.1micrometre or 4 micrometres and you would need 3 divisions to cover a cell of 10micrometres. I don't see that as an answer so I think that the question might have a wrong unit somewhere. All the best,
