OpenStudy (anonymous):

what is the first and second derivative of this fuction ? f(x) = (x+2)^(1/3)(x-4)^(2/3)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you use product rule and u substitution (:

OpenStudy (bahrom7893):

product rule and power rule works too

sam (.sam.):

I can see product rule only

OpenStudy (amistre64):

f'(x) = (D(x+2)^(1/3) (x-4)^(2/3)) + ((x+2)^(1/3) D(x-4)^(2/3)) the power rule is a basic application when using any of the other rules :)

OpenStudy (amistre64):

we could say "chain rule" as well, but that only pops out a 1 so its kinda useless
