Do you agree that students who work during the summer go further in life. Why or why not?
So now that you've thought about this a bit, what do you think? It would be possible to argue this either way. Which side do you come down on, and why?
Have you had a summer job? Has any of your friends? If you have what did you learn from working over the summer? By that I don't mean, "I learned how to mow a lawn," I'm looking for things more inline with personal growth and development; money management, time management, work ethic, etc. Of these things that you learned working over the summer, do any of them seem like they would be useful in your future? Why or why not? If you know someone who has worked over the summer, interview them. Ask them the above questions and take notes. If you know multiple people who fit your interviewee criteria interview them all. It helps to have multiple perspectives. Base your paper on the findings of your interviews. You could base it on consensus of your findings, or on what you think is right, either way the interviews and self-reflection should give you plenty of ideas to include in your paper.
