I need to know about the Cell Membrane in a plant cell. Any help?

Don't you have a textbook with information in it? I suggest you read that, but let me try to give you some intuition. I think a good starting question is "Why does a cell have a membrane?" Long ago, cells didn't exist yet; all there was were free floating molecules. These molecules began replicating (think DNA) and all of a sudden, different molecules began competing for the same resources so that they could multiply! So we have competing replicating molecules. One way to "beat" others is to protect yourself, for example. This is where the cell wall comes in. A cell wall "protects" the cell, but since the cell also needs things from the outside world (resources) and needs to remove waste from itself as well, the cell membrane also needs to be able to take the stuff it wants "in", and remove stuff from the inside out. So the cell membrane of organisms protects/separates the cell from the outside world, but is also semi-permeable (meaning "somewhat allowing of things to pass through"). You should do some research on the composition of the cell membrane, and how it helps the plant cell.

The cell membrane, also referred to as plasma membrane, is a semi-permeable lipid membrane. It contains lipids, biological molecules and proteins which help in the cellular processes. The cell membrane acts as a separator or a skin that separates the extracellular environment from the intracellular components. The skin-like membrane can regulate substances that enter and exit the cell. Substances can move through the membrane passively (no cellular energy required) or actively (requiring cellular energy). Certain proteins within the cell membrane function as signals to allow cells to interact. All throughout the cell membrane, protein receptors are found and function as signal receptors from other cells and from the environment. Other proteins on the cell membrane’s surface function as mark.

The cell membrain is like a filter letting some things in and blocking the harmful things attempting to enter the cell thats the simplest way I know to answer it
