Is the equation an example of growth or decay? y = 2(3)^-x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

decay

OpenStudy (experimentx):

decay

OpenStudy (turingtest):

if y goes up as x goes up it is...

OpenStudy (turingtest):

gee, you guys are smart -.-

@temple101 I don't remember if it was you, but I saw five other questions exactly like this in the last two hours. ... If it was, I'm disappointed.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

y = 2(3)^-x means 2 y = ----- 3^x so as value of x increases, value of 3^x increases and as value of 3^x increases, value of 2/3^x decreases so it is decay

OpenStudy (turingtest):

Thanks you, now temple won't have to ask us this exact same type of question again :D
