What type of point of view is used in The Call of the Wild ?

What point of view is the story told from, that's the question?

Is the story told from the point of view of someone experiencing it, an "I" in other words? If so, you are completely in the mind of the narrator, and only that narrator, and this point of view is called "first person." This is the point of view through which each of us experience our lives. We each know our own minds, but only our own. We cannot see into the thoughts of other people.

Or is the story told instead from a point of view that stands outside all the characters, such that there is no one "I" who is telling the story? In this case, you are never completely in the mind of only one person, but instead may see partially into the thoughts of others. Or you may be very external to everyone, all the time. These various points of view are all third-person points of view, but with third person you sometimes dip into the minds of one person, you sometimes dip into the minds of various persons, and you sometimes never dip into the minds of anyone. There are different labels for these various third-person points of view.

I've never read "The Call of the Wild," but I did do some research on the point of view. It says that it's Third Person Limited. Hope that helps!
