You discover isopods underneath some rocks, what would you expect them to be doing at that moment? How would their behaviour change after a few minutes?

i would expect them to be doing what any other animal would be doing if they were home, feeding. But since isopods are animals adapted to humid environments, they are extremely sensitive to slight changes in humidity, if you lifted some rocks, the exposure to the sun light and warmer temperatures would induce them to hide beneath something else. Normal behaviour.
you know isopods are mainly marine but there are few species that inhabit inland, as a matter of fact, here where i live in the south of Spain they are common to find. we have mainly species from the genus Porcellio sp. and Armadillium vulgare and what i told you i seen it with my own eyes.
