Write the slope-intercept form of the equation of the line shown in the graph. Please show all of your work. please see attachment

OpenStudy (anonymous):

y-6 = (6/5)x - (24/5) y = (6/5)x - (24/5) + 6 y = (6/5)x - 24/5 + 30/5 y = (6/5)x + 6/5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hmm.. doesn't look right.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im suppose to graph the points that we come up with

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ah, i see the error.. the point in the first quadrant is (6, 4) and not (4, 6)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

line goes through (6, 4) and (-6, -6) so slope = (4 - -6)/(6 - -6) = 10/12 = 5/6 now use (6, 4) for point-slope form: y-4 = (5/6)(x - 6) solve for y to get to slope intercept.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

y-4 = (5/6)x - (30/6) y = (5/6)x - 5 + 4 y = (5/6)x - 1 now it's right.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so what points do i put on the graph
