guys,can you tell me what is the difference between an oscillating object and a vibrating one

Good question. An oscillation is just a repititive motion about some point. A vibration is a to and fro motion about a point, a point generally inside the body.
For example, the motion of a simple pendulum is an oscillation about its fixed point, but not a vibration. The vibration of your mobile phone is a good example of vibratory motion.
Remember: All vibrations are oscillations, but all oscillations are not vibrations.
