if someone gives me a formula I can try and solve it, or I could share the multiple choices.
get to know this special triangle and its properties.. this is a 30-60-90 triangle. propertyies: -the side opposite the smallest angle is always half of the hypotenuse. -the other side is (sqrt3)/2*the shoretest side. that being said, can you figure it out?
Is there a postulate for what you just said? if not then im probably just going get lost in this. I missed out on half of a geometry year sadly.

ok, your smallest side is the 57 right? then JL (the hypotenuse) is twice that big.

Does the same rule apply to this problem? A ladder leans against a house at a 60° angle to the ground. If the ladder extends to a length of 132 inches, what is the height of the house to the nearest hundredth of an inch? (putting a pic in a sec)
yes. in fact, in your higher math classes like trig. you'll get familiar with this triangle a lot. it's not too early to learn it though...
