suppose you have a quadratic ax^2 + bx + c = 0

here a and c has some factors right??
so you have to arrange these factors into two groups such that by adding or subtracting them you get the 'b' part, which we call splitting of the middle term.

so i ll show you how to do this in your question one time and you can try the rest on your own.
