Which statement about a trapezoid is always true? Answer It has no right angles. It has at least one pair of parallel sides. It has at least one pair of congruent sides. It has opposite angles that are supplementary.

OpenStudy (hoblos):

It has at least one pair of parallel sides

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It has at least one pair of parallel sides.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

be careful with this one because actually, some define it as "only one pair of parallel sides"

OpenStudy (anonymous):

one pair is mean 2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

trapezoid have one pair parallel sides or 2 side opposite ane paralel is the same

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so in the definition, "at least one pair of parallel sides" the rectangle is a trapezoid.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

one pair parallel sides is mean 2 side paralel

I would go with dpaInc's definition, which would mean that choice B is NOT the answer.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes, the answer, given those choices, would be the first choice "at least one pair". I was just pointing out that the definition of a trapezoid is not universal. Sorry for the confusion.
