@arcticf0x Very good answer re: The New Boston. I love Bucky's videos. He's good.
@ajprincess Sams is a pretty good book for learning Java, but if you are a total beginner to programming in general, Head First Java is a better book IMO. You can get it pretty cheap from Amazon. http://www.amazon.com/Head-First-Java-Kathy-Sierra/dp/0596009208

@jagatuba Yeah he is good, but i'm afraid his approach isnt very complete to that of a book or a uni course, i mostly reffer his c++ tutorials of topics i have problem with.

@arcticfOx Yeah I don't know why your name is not coming up in the list when I start to type it, but for whatever reason it's not so I just typed it in manually. But I do agree with you. Bucky's vids are great for practicing step-by-step exercises and programs or troubleshooting or getting ideas about how to do something specific, but a book is definitely better for learning. Still, I found his videos an invaluable resource when I was taking Java.
