Ok \[12=2x^2−2x\] This is standard form \[ax^2 + bx + c = 0\] In standard form (we just subtracted -12 from both sides) \[0 = 2x^2 - 2x - 12\] Then we just need to plug it into the quadratic formula and solve. You can find the formula at that site. That's all I can do for now, if you need more help msg me with the answer you got. I'll finish it off.
