In the real world, not all transformations are always possible. For example, if you drive a car around town, what types of transformations does the car undergo? What types can it not undergo? Explain.

You, uh, undergo a transformation in position from time? Your car undergoes a transformation from chemical energy in the rubber tires into heat energy from friction? Not sure what else constitutes a transformation.

It is a very strange question by itself. I assume it makes more sense in the context of the chapter of whatever book it's in.

Oh. My bad! Haha it's for geometry. Like translations, reflections, rotations, etc.

Well, a car's wheel rotates. Uh, the car's forward motion is a direct translation of the wheel's radial velocity. Umm, sometimes a car deforms when it crashes. This is a really general question, I don't think there can be a good answer for it.

I think badreferences has what your teacher wants: the wheels can rotate the location of the car can translate it \(cannot\) undergo a sudden reflection (like become the mirror image of itself) so you have two of the three as possible
