is a^2 + b^2 =0 linear ?

OpenStudy (y2o2):

no it's not , because all the variables are raised to the power of 2 in the linear equation or function, the must be raised to the first power like : y = mx+b

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what does it mean "the must be raised to the first power" ? Do you mean that in linear eq the power of any variable should be 1 ?

OpenStudy (y2o2):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@y2o2 thanks bro

OpenStudy (y2o2):

anytime ;)

Hard to be sure what this even is, since there is only one real solution, a=b=0.
