Use Pythagoras!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how ? its about statements though..?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

last statement. the hypotenuse of a triangle will always be the longest. anything shorter than 19 is the wrong answer.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

keep that in mind, if you get another question like that all you have to know is that the hypotenuse of a triangle is the longest side, you wont even have to touch the numbers.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if youre ever missing the hypotenuse of a right triangle, use the Pythagorean theorem, which is a^2 + b^2 = c^2. where a and b are the legs of the triangle, and c being the hypotenuse (diagonal). once you plug in a and b, take the square root of that number to get c, the hypotenuse.

Ohk thanks so much !
