Can someone guide me through? I need to learn this for class
Model B. Its sides are a Pythagorean Triple. (3,4,5) --> by 2 --> (6,8,10)
Is that all the lengths that make every triangle right there??
You can go through each of the triangles, find the longest side and determine if the square of that side is equal to the sum of the squares of the other two. 10^2 = 6^2 + 8^2 ----> Model B 100 = 36 + 64 100 = 100. If you have studied the triples, picking out the triangle that is right is easier to spot in some cases. The triples work because they satisfy the converse of the Pythagorean Theorem.
