are centripetal and centrifugal forces considered to be action-reaction forces? consider a mass m tied to a string centripetal force is provided by the string on to the mass m while centrifugal force acts on string by the mass m drwing a free body diagram of the mass m i can say the forces acting on it are: mg tension pulling it inwards but actually as the mass m is attached to the string, wont the centrifugal force given by the mass on the string also affect it?(that is act on it?) as mass m and string are joined to each other?
