"One molecule of phosphoglyceraldehyde has more energy than three carbon dioxide molecules, because phosphoglyceraldehyde contains some of the light energy that was absorbed in the light reactions of photosynthesis. " I dont really understand how G3P has the light energy?

OpenStudy (blues):

Where did you read that?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It's from the Calvin Cycle. So you make your ATP using light reactions - and here light energy means electrons moved into ATP as a consequence of light activating your photosystems, and then that ATP is used in the calvin cycle. This cycle takes in atmospheric carbon and will ultimately make sugars, but it does so using the ATP generated via the light-based reactions.
