if f(x) is an antiderivative of x*e^-x^2 and f(0)=1 then f(1)= a. 1/e b. 1/2e-3/2 c. 1/2e-1/2 d. -1/2e+3/2 e. -1/2e+1/2

Use the equation plzz I can't understand it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what do you mean use the equation?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

There is an equation option below to write it as an equation using mathematical signs

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[xe ^{-x ^{2}}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you need to just calculate the derivative of the function (because its the anti derivitve of f(x) so diverentiating gets you back to f(x) which is what the value for is asked) and input 1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If it is \[x*e^(-x^2) \] then the answer is -1/(2e)+3/2

thanks!
