What is the degree of the function, given this table -2, -24 -1, 0 0, 24 1, 24 2, 0 3, -24 Also, what is the specific equation and the x-intercepts?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It sounds like cos(x)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Correct me if I'm wrong

OpenStudy (anonymous):

nah, 0 and 1 are both 24. Would be possible, if the peak would be at 0.5, but since he's looking for the degree of the function, I doubt it's a trigonometric function. Can't really see what else that is tho

OpenStudy (zarkon):

\[x^4-2x^3-13x^2+14x+24\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so the function is 4th degree and x intercepts are x = -3, -1, 2, and 4.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

assuming zarkon's equation is the correct one
