OpenStudy (yrivers36):

write the expression in radical notation. with explanations please. x^2/3y^1/5

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

what you need to remember about turning to radical is that in the exponent..the denominator of your exponent is your index and the numerator is the exponent...lemmme demonstrate: x^2/3 becomes .... cube root of x^2 because the denominator is 3..so it is cube root and it has an exponent with numerator two..so it is a square... do you get it? try y^1/5

OpenStudy (yrivers36):

5\[\sqrt[?]{?}\]y

OpenStudy (yrivers36):

should be 5rty
