I am suppose to identify a pattern and come up will a formula for the following set of numbers:

3, 8, 2, 5, 5, 2, 2, 8, 5, 3, 0, 6, 8, 7, 6, 9, 2, 8, 0

there is no pattern there

so, the old fallback for series and sequences:
f(x) = { 3, for x=1;
8, for x=2;
2, for x=3; ...; 0, for x=19 }

even if you separate it into odd and even numbers? and find a recurrence relation? or that would be irrelevant?

my guess is it has nothing to do with "math" but rather the numbers represent something else
