What is an example of an equilibrium shift that might occur to a system?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ummm idont have chemical names but i can give yu a model of wat it should look like if yu like?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so if A + B= C+D assume theyare all gasses. if you add some A then the equalibrium will shift to the product side, or the opposite side. if you remove some A then the equalibrium will remain on the same side

OpenStudy (unklerhaukus):

when you open a bottle of soda pop the high pressure inside the bottle is reduced shifting the equilibrium to make the CO_2 less likely to be dissolved , hence bubbles form

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@hereweg0 Oh you're giving me the equation. Well soda has gas so that has to be an example.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@unklerhaukus Thank you! I understand it better now.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok good.
