Mathematics 10 Online
OpenStudy (anonymous):

1296^2n=216^n+10

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Write both sides as a power of 6. 1296=6^4 and 216=6^3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So then you'll have 6^(4*2n)=6^(3*(n+10))

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Once you have the bases the same, you can set the exponents equal to each other.... so 4*2n=3(x+10) and then solve that.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

8n=3n+30 (just realized I accidently put x instead of n...sorry!)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you
