The function models the time, t, in seconds that an object has been falling after the object has fallen d feet. When will the time be more than 1 minute? d ≥ 16 ft d ≥ 225 ft d ≥ 3,600 ft d > 57,600 ft
Hey, for this.. can you just plug in the different distance and see when t = 60 sec. That's 1 min after the object starts falling.
And when i plugged int he last option (57,600ft), I got 60 secs (aka 1 min).
i think it's the thrid one am i right?
No, when I did that, I got 15 secs. So at 15 secs, the object has fallen a distance of 3600 ft. However, at exactly one min, the distance the object fell is 57,600 ft.
You can always plug in to your calc to make sure :)
so i guess it would have to be the last one right?
\[\sqrt{57600/16}\]
Yeah.
ok, thanks
