help what am i doing wrong the solution is -+8 but I'm getting -+16 the problem is (128)/(x^2)+2=0

im subtracting the the 2 from both sides, then multiply that by -128,(which gives me 256) then finding the square root of 256, which is -+16

You forget that x^2 is still on the bottom (1/x^2). And instead of multiplying -128 youre next step is to divide instead of multiply it to the other side. So in the end you'll have 1/x^2 = -2/-128 (or 1/64). From there you can flip the denominator so that x^2 = 64, and should result in +-8. Its difficult to explain but I believe your mistake was multiplying by -128, when you should be dividing
