When correcting of DNA replication occurs through an Epsilon Subunit, what happens if you don't have the Epsilon Subunit to make the repairs??

OpenStudy (agreene):

are you meaning the epsilon subunit in the DNA Polymerases?

OpenStudy (agreene):

If that is what you're talking about--I'm not sure, I know I read a paper about a mutation in DNA Poly III causing some neurological issues. There is some good information about the protein segment here: http://www.uniprot.org/uniprot/P56282

Yes. I am talking about the DNA Polmerase Epsilon Subunit. My Professor said that she was not sure if a human body could be without it or not, when I asked her if our bodies could be deficient of it or not have it all together. And asked me to see what I could find out for extra credit....
