2/3-1/6=

OpenStudy (karatechopper):

ok well lets make the fractions have common denominators

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2/3-1/6= take out the common denominator which is 6

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so you'll get 4-1/6 =3/6 =1/2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Make the denominators the same. Multiply the top and bottom of 2/3 by 2, you get 4/6 - 1/6 4-1 equals 3 6 is the denominator. 3/6 = 1/2
