whichj object is a system made up of subsystems? A.mineral B. rock C.earth D.box
Well a system is defined as: A set of connected things or parts forming a complex whole, in particular. A set of things working together as parts of a mechanism or an interconnecting network. (In other words a bunch of stuff interacting) and a sub-system is defined as a system that is part of some larger system. So which answer do you think it is? :)
ummm mineral
Hmmm no, what do you see as interacting as a mineral?
*sorry, in a mineral
idk
Alright well which one of these things (A.mineral B. rock C.earth D.box) do you think you could say ".... has parts within them that effect each other"?
a rock
Hmm I suppose a rock *could* have parts within them that effect each other but do you think they would form an interacting system? Think of it like this, systems usually have changes, they're dynamic, which of those options sound most dynamic?
well i think its between the rock or the earth
(You are right it is between those two) Given the question asks for a system with subsystems and rocks are a part of the earth, which one do you think it is? :)
it hard i think earth because of everything thats in it ecosystems and other things
Well you are exactly right :D it does have all sorts of interacting ecosystems and animals and rocks (known as abiotic factors)! Which make it a system with subsystems :)
yay thank you
no worries, I'm glad you worked it out :D
um and also what is a way that earthworms promote plant growth in soil
not a way
Sorry! I've ran out of time :/ Anyway, just stick it up as a new question (so others can see it) and they'll help you :)
alright
