how do you do facotrization of algerbraic expressions ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its just the opposite of expansion

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

look for similar variables...it's actually pretty hard to explain...lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok a lil more help than that im getting its the opposite of expression and find simular variables

OpenStudy (callisto):

xy-x You can see that for both terms, there is an 'x' as a factor, take it out and group the rest of the terms like this x (y-1) That's factorization

OpenStudy (anonymous):

omg thank you now how would i do factorization problems ?

razor99 (razor99):

u could post a quetion

OpenStudy (anonymous):

check youtube its hard to explain

OpenStudy (callisto):

It's like taking out common, them group the other terms Or for the question like x^2 +2x-3 you can do it like this |dw:1333806706838:dw| So you'll get (x+3)(x-1)
