Ok so these are called binomials. That's because they have two terms. The way you multiply them is called FOILing. It's an acronym and it stands for First Outer Inner Last. So this is how you would mulitply it. (-4n-5)(6n+1) start by mulitplying the First terms -4n and 6n then the Outer terms -4n and 1. then the Inner terms -5 and 6n and finally the Last terms -5 and 1 then you get the above answer|dw:1334357600430:dw| Then combine like terms:|dw:1334357833127:dw| That's it!
