help me with Interchanging Limits of Integration please :(((

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Could you be more specific? :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\int\limits_{0}^{2}\int\limits_{y/2}^{1}e ^{x ^{2}}dxdy\]

it would be helpful if we sketch this so our region would be |dw:1334068596422:dw| first let the equation of the line be y=2x.... now as you can see in the figure, the region is where: \[0 \le x \le 1\] \[0 \le y \le 2x\] so interchanging our limits of integration we'll get: \[\int\limits_{0}^{1}\int\limits_{0}^{2x}e^{x^2}dydx\]

I get it! thanks a lot ;xxxxxx
