?Que dice "Guess" en español?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The word for ' to guess' in spanish is 'adivinar'. It changes slightly depending on how you use it, though. Like, for 'he guessed', it would be 'adivino'. I've also seen 'he guessed' written as 'supuso' though. So.

So I can say: Yo adivino. As in: "I guess" When answering a question.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah, theoretically. I'm 98% sure. You could also say 'supongo que', but I, personally, would go with 'yo adivino'.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yo creo yo pienso o supongo que

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Adivino would be more like "I guessed on an answer on the test" whereas Suppongo would be like saying "I guess you are right"

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Advinar is the equivalent of the verb" guess"

@wolski u can't use "Yo adivino" like "I guess" because they are used in different contexts, like Gigijiji said!
