Please help: (x+1) (4x+7) Can you show steps please?

OpenStudy (phi):

Here is a short video that might help http://www.khanacademy.org/math/algebra/polynomials/v/multiplying-polynomials1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

maybe that one can help ... try it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@phi thanks! (:

OpenStudy (anonymous):

4x2+7x+4x+7 4x2+11x+7 the formula x=[-b+-\sqrt{b ^{2}-4ac}/2a\] a=4,b=11,c=7 put in the formula

OpenStudy (anonymous):

O.o Um i got it already but thanks. I haven't learned it like that but thanks anyway (: I appreciate it (:

OpenStudy (phi):

study multiplied it out to get the answer. Then gave the quadratic formula, which allows you to "go the other way" start with the quadratic and find (x+1)(4x+7). Something tells me you are not learning that yet.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok best of luck

@phi i learned it but when i was looking back, like i didn't understand what I was doing, so I have to review. And I thought i was doing it wrong so i wanted to check. @studyisbest Thank you (:
