An easy trigo question

OpenStudy (callisto):

OpenStudy (mani_jha):

Is it E?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Looks like E

OpenStudy (callisto):

Yes. How did you get it?

OpenStudy (callisto):

Oh... I found my mistakes. Thanks all :(

OpenStudy (anonymous):

We know that tan(45)=1 and raising it to a power, isn't going to change anything, so just find all ref. angles of 45 degrees.

OpenStudy (callisto):

I forgot the -1 when I tried it few months ago. Sorry!!!

OpenStudy (mani_jha):

\[\tan ^{2}\theta=1,-3\] (After solving) \[\tan ^{2}\theta=-3\] has no real solution. So \[\tan \theta=\pm 1\] \[\theta=n \pi \pm 45\]
