Appeals to reason mean they are statements normally given in speeches that give the audience a reason to believe them. Appeals to emotion are statements that would affect a persons judgement based on emotion. Finally, appeals to ethics would be a statement that would change someones mind based on what is right and what is wrong. Examples- Reason-"Caesar's turned down my crown numerous times, does that sound ambitious?" Ethics-"Caesar always wanted right, you guys should too." Emotion-"He never did anything wrong, Brutus simply killed an innocent soul." Hope this helps!
I'll give you an example in your assignment. The first question states that "Lamb uses FACTS..." Facts would be an appeal to reason. Would you believe someone who uses fairy tales or facts?
facts
Right! They gave you a "reason" to believe them. :)

Process of Elimination. You know what the 3 choices mean?
bankrupt - no money? dishonest - not telling the truth wholesome - ?
wholesome means very healthy or has good morals
ok thanks for telling me that
So, if corruption by definition means fraudulent conduct by those in power...
A or C ?
Corruption means Bad, Wholesome means Good. You would need to narrow your choices to two options. Bankrupt = Poor Dishonest = Bad If corruption means Bad and Dishonest means Bad. What would the answer be? :P
