Sooommmmeoneeee please help meeee: Can someone think of a personification, onomattopoeia, and alliteration for the statement: The boy ran quickly.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If you mean that the figures of speech must revolve around that statement (If not then sorry) then: Personification: The boy's shoe protested as he ran quickly. Onomatopoeia: While the boy ran quickly, pitter-patterings were heard throughout the streets. Alliteration: ??? Sorry if these were not helpful.

OpenStudy (lilai3):

thank you!!!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Np. Glad to help.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I believe alliterations are just simple word play. The bouncing boy ran quickly.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

alliteration is what happens when words sound similar at the beginning. Think of it as rhyme but in reverse. pitter pat is alliteration.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah, like what I said.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

An alliteration is normally most of the words with similar sounds, not always, but it's better that way.
