A scientist finds hominid fossils in China and in Australia. Judging by the rock layers in which both the fossils were found, the scientist suspects that they are approximately the same age. What should the scientist do next to build a stronger case that the fossils are the same age?

which do u think?

Compare the shapes of the fossil bones. Look for more hominid fossils in the same rock strata. Use radioactive dating to determine the fossils’ ages. Write a scientific article supporting her premise.

I would guess that radioactive dating (most commonly carbon dating) would give a better idea of the age of the bones.
