The height of an equilateral triangular prism decreases by two units. The new volume is less than the original by how much? two times the area of the base two times the length of the height two more than the the area of the base two more than the length of the height

volume of prisms = area of base x h if the height would decrease by 2 then... new volume = (area of base)(h-2) if we use distributive property.. new volume = (area of base x height) - 2(area of base) area of base x height is the original volume... new volume = original volume - 2(area of base) does that answer your question? :D
