what does sin/tan simplify to?
tan=sin/cos
In other words, sin/tan=sin/(sin/cos)=sin*(cos/sin)
ok but that isnt what i am asking i am doing trigometric identies
...S/he just answered your question, @mrsbrandnew . Maybe you should read the answers before you respond?
sin=opposite/hypotenuse tangent=opposite/adjacent cos=adjacent/hypotenuse sin/cos=(opp/hyp)/(adj/hyp)=opp/adj -> Proof that sin/cos=tan Now, since tan=sin/cos, subsitute that into sin/tan
i got cosine it needed to be simplified to one if possible @badreferences thanks for you help -_-
Well, I chose instead of giving you a single answer to give you the steps
You wouldn't be learning anything if I was the one doing all the trig identities and giving you the answers.
@inkyvoyd Technically, just giving an answer without proof is against the Code of Conduct. ;)
I don't like giving answers because people tend not to pay attention to learning when they see them; they simply just decide to put the answer into their test/homework, and be done with it.
@badreferences , it is, but apparently and quite unfortunately people do it quite often :/
i worked it out on my own already trust i am looking for someone to see if they got something diffrent not smart asses
Well, firstof all, no need to start cursing, because that can get you suspended.
SEcond of all, if that was the case, you should've given the answer you got, and asked if it was correct, so we knew that you weren't just trying to get people to do your homework for you.
Since you didn't give the answer you got, we (or maybe just me) assumed that you didn't know how to do the question, and thus walked you through the steps.
here is my proof since you guts think i just want your answers (sin/1)(sin/cos) |dw:1334796513331:dw| but i messed up somewhere
