x*x*x*x=?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x^4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x to the power of 4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

answer 4x x(x+4) x4 x+4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

4x then i guess

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay thanks

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no, that would be x4, which should be written x^4 to show that it's an exponent. 4x is x+x+x+x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes, that is what @DHASHNI said in the begining

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so what will be the answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x to the power of 4, but you said it wasn't on the list of answers

OpenStudy (anonymous):

"answer 4x x(x+4) x4 x+4"

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its the one i put there is what i got in the sheet

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

on your answer list, when you wrote x4, is it this? |dw:1334849131194:dw|

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks

OpenStudy (anonymous):

next time, just so you know, you need to use the ^ to indicate that it's an exponent, else it can cause confusing to everybody :-)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no the way i wrote that the way it was giving

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is not put as a xponent
