OpenStudy (anonymous):

What are the slope and y-intercept of the graph of the given equation? y = –4x + 2

OpenStudy (precal):

slope is -4 y-intercept is 2

OpenStudy (farmdawgnation):

Hey precal, Please try to tutor the users who are asking questions instead of just giving them answers in the future. Thanks man!

OpenStudy (precal):

I do tutor if they respond. But somtimes I do post the solutions. I also, sometimes verify other people's solutions by giving medals and sometimes I post the correct solution. I do what I can.

OpenStudy (precal):

by the way I am a girl

OpenStudy (farmdawgnation):

To your second point, I apologize. It's impossible to tell dudes/chicks over the internet. Regardless, we are moving in the direction of encouraging our helpers towards providing more than *just* solutions as a response. We've actually made a change to the Code of Conduct to that effect awhile back.

OpenStudy (precal):

That is fine. But unless someone actually responds back it is impossible to move forward. I do what I can, you may check my history and you will see that I help when there is a respond. I wish people could input in the beginning using the equation editor or the draw feature. Many times items are typed in incorrect. Such as 2x2 should be 2x^2. Yet, many of us still respond to those questions. I also, wish the smart score had a bar of some sort. I use to be able to tell when I went from level to level. It seems my smart score is stuck. Anyways not very motivating for me.

OpenStudy (farmdawgnation):

You're more than welcome to post your thoughts on SmartScore in OpenStudy Feedback, but the point is that it would be impossible for us to generate such a bar with the new math we're doing. :\ In re: responding back - if they don't respond then it's really their loss no?
