Writing 17 Online

If I wrote a paper that is based solely on one web based simulation, how do I do an "in text citation"? I reference the simulation several times, both specifically and indirectly.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What type of citing format is it? MLA? APA?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What style of citation is it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Sorry, APA format

I would say make the in text citation based off of who created the program. So just (Last Name). http://owl.english.purdue.edu/owl/resource/560/10/ then go to computer software / downloaded software If this isn't it, could you explain what the web based simulation is?

Thanks, that helped a lot. The simulation was an online simulation of how to respond in a disaster event. It was really well done. After, we wrote a paper responding to how we would respond as a nurse, after watching and participating in the simulation. Since the paper was completely, but broadly, based on my learning from the simulation along with my previous knowledge, I was unsure how to put in the "in text citations'" The criticism for the paper was based mostly on the lack of in-text citations. I figured that might be an issue, but still am unsure of how to add those, when the paper is so broadly based on the web site.

Whenever you use any information from the program, you need to use an intext citation.

Thank you. I added the information based on your input. I'm waiting for the response. Fingers crossed. Thanks again.
