OpenStudy (anonymous):

how do you find the area in a shape?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Integrate it.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

when you say intergrate it you mean?

OpenStudy (zepp):

What kind of shape are you talking about?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well, it depends of the shape you're trying to find the area.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

a triangle

OpenStudy (inkyvoyd):

Depends on the shape

OpenStudy (inkyvoyd):

triangle = base * half/2

OpenStudy (inkyvoyd):

I can prove it right here if you need

OpenStudy (inkyvoyd):

Circle is pir^2 also provable, but harder

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[A = {{base \times heigth} \over 2}\]

OpenStudy (inkyvoyd):

funny shapes are usually calculated by putting a infinite number of simple shapes in them, then calculating the area. Don't worry about that, that is math you will learn far far later.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so i got a=5*3/2= a=15/2 so does a=7.5?

OpenStudy (inkyvoyd):

Yes.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wooooooooooooo suck it geometry

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks guys
