probability is based on the ratio between the number of "desirable" outcomes vs the number of "total" outcomes. In this case, you've got 6 possioutcomes, because there are 6 sides on the die. 3 of those outcomes are "desirable", you want a 4, 5, or 6. What's that ratio in its simplest form?\[\frac{3 \space "desired" \space outcomes}{6 \space "total" \space outcomes}\]
